The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ViewPortIQ
ViewPortIQ turns Chrome into a simple and practical responsive testing workspace. You can open any HTTP or HTTPS webpage and test it across different phones, tablets, desktops, or your own custom screen sizes. Instead of just showing how a page looks, ViewPortIQ checks the actual rendered layout and helps identify problems that may affect users on different devices.
### What ViewPortIQ does
ViewPortIQ can test the current webpage across multiple screen sizes at the same time. It includes nine common device sizes by default, and users can also create their own breakpoints or rotate devices when needed.
During a scan, it looks for real responsive design problems such as content overflowing outside the screen, elements that do not resize properly, clipped text, overlapping controls, and buttons or links that are too small to use comfortably.
To reduce false results, ViewPortIQ verifies each detected issue more than once before reporting it. It also tries to recognize layouts that are intentionally designed in a certain way, so developers do not waste time fixing something that is not actually a problem.
For every confirmed issue, ViewPortIQ provides useful details such as its severity, confidence level, affected devices, the viewport where the issue is most visible, and the possible CSS reason behind it.
It can also suggest CSS fixes. These fixes are temporarily applied and tested across the affected devices. The layout is measured again to check whether the fix works and whether it creates any new problems. Only fixes that pass these checks are recommended. Developers can then copy the suggested CSS or compare before-and-after screenshots.
ViewPortIQ also provides a Responsive Score from 0 to 100, along with a clear breakdown of the results. Users can filter and search issues, ignore or restore findings, and run another scan to see which problems were fixed, which are still present, and whether any new issues appeared.
The final results can also be exported as a standalone HTML report or as JSON.
