VideoPlus finds the video on the page you're watching and lets you save it — one click, on any site. Modern websites rarely offer a plain "download" link. The video is streamed in pieces (HLS .m3u8 or DASH .mpd), delivered as a progressive .mp4/.webm, or played from an in-memory blob:/MediaSource source with no visible URL at all. VidGrab understands all of these and turns them into a normal file save. What it does • Detects automatically. As a page loads and plays, VidGrab watches network traffic and the page's own video elements to find every downloadable stream. A badge on the toolbar icon shows how many were found on the current tab. • Shows you what it found. Click the toolbar icon for a per-tab list: a thumbnail preview, the video title, the stream type (HLS / DASH / MP4 / Blob), and — for adaptive streams — a menu of the available qualities (e.g. 1080p, 720p, 480p) so you choose the one you want. • Downloads the right way for each format. – Progressive MP4/WebM files are saved directly. – HLS and DASH streams are fetched segment-by-segment (with sensible concurrency and automatic retries), then remuxed into a single playable MP4. – MediaSource / blob: videos are captured from the player as they play and assembled into a file. • Live progress. A progress bar and a Cancel button for every download, right in the popup. Options you control • Preferred quality (highest, ask each time, or up to a maximum height) • Number of parallel segment downloads (1–16) • Maximum file size (with a warning before large downloads) • Filename template — e.g. {site}_{title}_{quality}.{ext} Privacy first VideoPlus runs entirely on your computer. It does not send the pages you visit, the streams it detects, or any usage data to us or to any third party. Detected streams are kept only for the current browsing session and are cleared when you navigate away or close the tab. Your settings are stored locally in your browser. Respect for content protection VideoPlus does not and will not bypass DRM. Streams protected by Widevine, PlayReady, or FairPlay are detected and clearly marked as protected, and the download button is disabled for them.
