Vidlore: Course Notes & AI Tutor

PRODUCT OVERVIEW Vidlore turns selected Udemy™ courses into a searchable knowledge base and an AI tutor grounded in the material the learner extracted. Manually copying transcripts or notes is tedious. Vidlore automates extraction and gives you clean, formatted Markdown you can keep, search, and reuse with the AI assistant or note-taking app you already use. IMPORTANT PREREQUISITES - Active Udemy Account: You must be logged into your Udemy account. - Enrolled Courses: You must already own or be enrolled in the course you wish to use the tool with. - Lecture Page Only: The formatting and extraction features only appear when you are on the actual Lecture Page (video player) of a Udemy course. THE POWER OF NOTE & TRANSCRIPT FUSION Traditional exports give you two separate files: one for the lecture and one for your notes. This breaks your learning context. Our Fusion Engine inserts your personal notes directly into the transcript at the exact second they were recorded. - For you: Read your thoughts alongside the teacher's words. - For AI assistants: The model sees your questions and insights in the context of the lecture, so its explanations fit what you were actually studying. WHY MARKDOWN? Markdown is plain text that almost every tool understands. By exporting to .md, you get: - Works with AI tools: Upload or paste your exports into any AI assistant. - Works with note apps: Import into any Markdown-based note-taking app. - Future-Proof: Clean, text-based data that stays yours forever. PRIVACY & SECURITY - Local by Default: Extracted transcripts, notes, summaries, and the search index are stored in your browser on your device. - No Browsing History: Vidlore only reads the Udemy courses you choose to extract. It does not track other websites you visit. - Optional Analytics: Anonymous feature-usage analytics help us improve Vidlore. They never include transcript text, notes, or search queries, and you can turn them off in Settings → Privacy. - Local Library: Vidlore does not maintain a server-side course library. A cloud AI action sends only the context needed for the action you request. - Secure Authentication: We verify your Pro status using signed, encrypted tokens.
