Shows the decoded resolution of videos playing on any web page.
The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Video Resolution Inspector
Video Resolution Inspector shows the actual decoded dimensions of HTML5 videos, such as 1920 × 1080 or 3840 × 2160. It reads the live video element, not the player size or a quality label, so you can see the resolution currently being played.
Click the extension icon to view every video found in the current tab. The popup also indicates whether a video is playing, ready, or still loading.
Your privacy matters: Video Resolution Inspector runs locally in your browser. It does not collect, store, or transmit personal data, browsing history, or video content.
