Versiona CuboPlus

Versiona CuboPlus keeps the history of the load script of your Qlik Sense apps in your company's Git repository, with a comment from whoever changed it. HOW IT WORKS You open an app in Qlik Sense and click the Versiona icon. The extension reads the load script in your session, compares it with the last version stored in Git and shows what changed. You write what changed and why, and the version is saved as a commit, with your name as the author. A mascot, inside Qlik, warns you when there is a change with no version. WHAT YOU GET - History per app: who changed it, when and why, with a link to the version in Git. - Line-by-line differences, before saving. - Restore a previous version, with confirmation. - Optional: the expressions of master items (measures and dimensions) and the app variables, stored together with the script. - One file per app, in a folder per stream or per space. - Copy and publish: the copy of an app records where it came from, and when you publish over the original, the versions of the copy join the history of the published app. - Works with GitLab (including self-hosted) and with GitHub. - Works with Qlik Sense Enterprise client-managed and with Qlik Cloud Analytics. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO - It does not go through any server of ours. The script goes from your browser straight to Qlik and to your company's Git. Cubotimize does not receive, store or see scripts or credentials. - It does not write to public repositories. - It does not change the app unless you ask: the only write to Qlik is the restore, confirmed by you. - It has no telemetry, ads or tracking. TOKEN SECURITY - The Git token is encrypted in the browser, and only the extension reads it. - Highly recommended: require the Windows Hello PIN or biometrics to use the token. A browser profile copied to another computer cannot open the token. - It only talks to Git over HTTPS. - The company can distribute the configuration by policy (GPO) and require the sign-in through the app, with no personal token.
