About Verbally Reader: AI Turns Any Page Into a Language Session
You finished the app. Real pages still lose you.
Verbally Reader turns whatever you are reading right now into a full language session, built around that exact page. Not a course, not a library. The lesson is the thing you already wanted to read today.
You hear the page read aloud in the language you are learning, with a translation in sync underneath as your safety net, so you can follow real native content without losing the thread. The original language stays the main signal. That is what makes it a learning tool and not a translation shortcut.
One page becomes a full session.
Pick something you actually want to read: a news story, a recipe, a blog in your field. Verbally Reader builds the practice around it.
Listening: hear it read aloud in a real voice
Reading: follow along with the translation in sync
Vocabulary: save words as you meet them, review them later as flashcards
Understanding: take a comprehension check written about the article you just read, at three levels
Five minutes on something you were going to read anyway covers all four.
Nothing is pre-made.
The comprehension check is written by AI about the page in front of you, at the level you pick. The translation is done by a language model that sees each sentence in context, so idiom survives instead of coming out word by word. The voices are real neural voices. There is no content library and no question bank, which is why it works on a page nobody prepared in advance.
It keeps count of what you actually read.
Finish a session and you see the four skills you covered. The count is a receipt, not a reward. What it records is real content you chose, not exercises somebody set for you.
Try all of it before you sign in.
Install it and the real thing runs on a sample article: hear it read aloud, see how saving words works, take a comprehension check, and watch a full session complete. No account. Nothing to set up.
Nine languages, both directions.
Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Hebrew, and Greek. Any of them can be the language you are learning, and any other can be your captions. Learning English works the same way: a real English page read aloud, with captions in your own language underneath.
Who it is for.
Learners past the app stage, roughly B1 and up, who would rather spend time inside the language than inside another exercise set. People living in a country whose language they are still learning. Anyone who has hit the plateau where apps stop moving you forward.
