About Urdu RTL Fixer
Urdu RTL Fixer fixes the display order of Urdu text that is mixed with English words, numbers and formulas. It also works for Arabic, Persian, Pashto and Sindhi.
When an Urdu sentence contains an English term or a formula, browsers often show it in the wrong order. "F = ma" turns into "ma = F", "9.8 m/s^2" breaks apart, a full stop jumps to the wrong end, and a line that starts with an English word is laid out left-to-right. Urdu RTL Fixer corrects this automatically on every web page.
What it does:
- Auto-fix on web pages: Urdu paragraphs get right-to-left direction, and every English word, number or formula is kept together as one block (HTML bdi isolates). Content that arrives later, such as chat replies, emails and streamed AI answers, is fixed as it appears.
- Leaves your typing alone: input boxes, text areas, editable areas, code and pre blocks are never changed.
- Copy fixed text: select text, right-click and choose "Copy fixed for WhatsApp/Word". You can also paste text into the popup and click "Fix & Copy". Invisible direction marks are added so the order stays correct when you paste into WhatsApp, Word, Notes or email.
- Optional Nastaliq font: one switch applies the bundled Noto Nastaliq Urdu font with comfortable line spacing. It works offline.
- Per-site control: turn it off everywhere or for a single site. Turning it off restores the original page.
Privacy: Urdu RTL Fixer collects no data and makes no network requests. Page text is processed only on your device. There are no ads, no analytics and no account.
