Upcoming Holiday

Your next day off, front and center. A calm new tab with a countdown to the next holiday—and a little something to smile about. **There’s something nice about knowing when your next day off is.** Upcoming Holiday turns your new tab into a gentle reminder: a countdown to the next public holiday in your country. No clutter, no ads—just the date, the name, and how many days, hours, and minutes are left until you can actually switch off. **What you’ll see** - **Countdown** — Big, clear numbers: days, hours, and minutes until the next holiday. One glance and you know exactly how long until that long weekend or day off. - **Calendar** — A simple month view with holidays marked, so you can see what’s coming at a glance. - **Upcoming list** — The next few holidays in one place, with names and dates. **Made to feel like yours** - **Your country** — We detect your country when you first install (you can change it anytime). Pick from a searchable list of 100+ countries so the holidays match where you live. - **Your look** — Choose from themes like Cozy, Minimal, Neon, Seasonal, and Dark, or set your own accent colour. Turn the calming background animation on or off. Show or hide the countdown, calendar, or list—whatever helps you most. - **Your pace** — Soft typography, optional motion, and a layout that doesn’t shout. It’s a new tab that feels calm, not noisy. **Little extra** - There’s a small secret in the extension. If you find it, consider it a tiny “thank you” for caring about your next day off. Upcoming Holiday uses public holiday data from Nager.Date (no account required). Your settings stay on your device. We hope it makes opening a new tab a bit sweeter—and your next holiday feel a little closer.
