The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About TxPick
TxPick is a lightweight color picker for Chrome that helps designers, developers, and creative professionals capture and organize colors from websites.
Pick a single color from any supported webpage using the visual pixel picker, or use AutoPick to extract a balanced color palette from the visible page.
Key features:
• Pick any visible pixel from a regular website tab
• View colors in HEX, RGB, HSL, and HSV formats
• Copy color values with one click
• Automatically copy colors after picking
• Extract page palettes with AutoPick
• Detect colors from page styles, images, videos, and visible content
• Save selected colors to My Palette
• Review recent manually picked colors
• Avoid duplicate saved colors
• Keep preferences and palettes stored locally
Privacy-focused:
TxPick does not require an account and does not upload your colors, screenshots, browsing data, or saved palettes to external servers. Page screenshots used during color picking and AutoPick are processed temporarily inside your browser and are not uploaded by TxPick.
TxPick works on regular HTTP and HTTPS websites. Chrome does not allow extensions to inspect protected pages such as chrome:// pages, the built-in New Tab page, or the Chrome Web Store.
Permissions are used only when you choose to pick or analyze colors:
• activeTab — temporarily accesses the current tab after your action
• scripting — runs the color picker or AutoPick agent on the selected page
• storage — saves preferences, recent picks, and palette colors locally
TxPick is designed to provide a simple, fast, and private color workflow directly in Chrome.
