TrendyHipHop Companion

TrendyHipHop Companion keeps you on top of new songs, albums, and videos from trendyhiphop.com — a music and entertainment site covering African hip-hop, afrobeats, amapiano, and R&B — without you having to keep checking the site yourself. NEW-POST ALERTS Checks trendyhiphop.com in the background on a schedule you choose (every 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes) and sends a desktop notification plus a badge count on the toolbar icon whenever something new is posted. FOLLOW ARTISTS & COUNTRIES Search for an artist and follow them, or follow a country (Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Tanzania, and more) from the Follows tab. Follow at least one and alerts narrow to just your picks; follow nothing and you'll hear about everything new. SEARCH FROM YOUR TOOLBAR Look up any artist or song on trendyhiphop.com directly from the popup - no tab required. DARK MODE Toggle a dark theme for trendyhiphop.com pages on or off, any time. HOW IT WORKS The extension reads trendyhiphop.com's own public content API for post titles, links, and categories — it doesn't scrape or modify the page, and it doesn't collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your follow list and settings are saved with Chrome's built-in sync storage, private to your Chrome profile. Built by the team behind TrendyHipHop, this extension connects to the site's own content feed to bring alerts, follows, and search to your browser toolbar.
