Trend Watcher

Trend Watcher periodically fetches trending searches from Google Trends and shows them in your browser's side panel. It's built for social media managers, marketers, writers, and streamers who want to keep an eye on what's trending. What it does: - Shows Google Trends trending searches in a side panel (title, approximate search volume, related news links) - Flags newly appeared words with a NEW badge and sends a desktop notification - Notifies you when a word's search volume band rises (drops are shown in the list but don't trigger a notification) - Lets you mute words (suppresses notifications only; the word still appears in the list) or watch specific words (notify only on those) - Supports a small always-on-top window (Picture-in-Picture) for the corner of your screen Things to know: - This extension uses Google's public RSS feed, not an official API. The feed's format or availability could change without notice (if it does, you can update the feed URL on the settings page). - The search volume shown (e.g. "1000+") is an approximate lower bound, not an exact count. - The list order is roughly chronological (newest first), not a popularity ranking. There is no "rank went up/down" feature. - The feed itself limits results to about 10 items.
