We are excited to announce TransKit v1.3.0! This update makes the Select-to-Translate popup far more flexible and makes TransKit look the same on every website. Pinned Translation Popup - Pin the popup to keep it open: clicking elsewhere no longer closes it, and every new text you highlight is translated right in the same popup. - Type to translate: type or paste any text into the original-text box. It translates when you pause typing, Enter translates immediately and Shift+Enter adds a new line. Works with Vietnamese, Japanese and other IME input. - Redesigned copy button: it no longer covers the end of the translation and shows a check mark once copied. Consistent Look on Every Site - The translation popup, inline suggestions, notifications and the Instant label are now fully isolated from website styles. This fixes shifted layouts and tiny text that some users saw on certain sites. Improvements & Fixes - Fixed the translation popup appearing off-screen on YouTube. - Fixed changing languages in the popup sometimes resetting other settings. - The !!lang suggestion now shows the provider that actually translated, instead of always "Chrome Built-in AI". - Tab now applies an Instant suggestion after switching its model. - Text that looks like HTML (for example a selected code snippet such as <div>) is no longer stripped before translation. - Security: selected text and translations are always displayed as plain text, never interpreted as HTML.
