동네 날씨 - TownWeather Check Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) forecasts and real-time observations for your neighborhood (eup, myeon and dong level). ⬤ Key Features 1. Weather icon and temperature on the Extension Bar • Shows an icon that matches the current weather on the Extension Bar. • The temperature is shown on top of the icon, and its color changes with the temperature range. • Hover over the Extension Bar icon to see a tooltip with the location, temperature, weather and reference time. 2. Basic weather information • Current temperature and weather, and the temperature difference from yesterday • Feels like / Humidity / Chance of rain (1-hour precipitation while it rains or snows) / Fine dust (PM10) / Ultrafine dust (PM2.5) / Wind (direction and speed) • Lowest/highest temperature and chance of rain for today, tomorrow and the day after • Hover over each item to see its details in a tooltip. 3. Expanded panel • Hourly: forecast at 1-hour intervals • Every 3 hours: forecast at 3-hour intervals • 10-Day: 10-day forecast • Other cities: check the weather in other places as well (up to 3) 4. Keyboard shortcut • Supports Alt+Shift+W. (You can change it at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.) ⬤ Settings — Use 'Settings' at the bottom of the panel for detailed options. Changes are applied to the Extension Bar and the popup panel as soon as you save them. — Uses a data cache to keep system resource usage low and to optimize speed. — Automatic updates run when new KMA data is published. Because update times follow KMA's data update schedule, the data is about 5–10 minutes behind real time. Depending on the data update status, an update may fail or the data may differ from the actual weather. 1. Location (eup/myeon/dong search) • Type at least two characters of the dong name, search, pick a place from the list and click 'Save selected place'. e.g., Myeong-dong, Jung-gu Myeong-dong. Click 'Clear' to return to the default (Sajik-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul). 2. Units • ℃, m/s, mm (default) • ℉, mph, in 3. Update mode • Automatic update (default): updates the weather data in the background at every update interval. • Sync on open: updates the weather data only when the panel opens, with no background updates. 4. Data update interval • Default (about 1 hour): recommended • Medium (about 30 min) • Minimum (about 10 min): uses more background resources, and the extra requests may get updates blocked. Default (about 1 hour) is recommended. 5. Appearance (color setting): choose Device setting / Light / Dark mode. 6.
