TossTabs: 72-Hour Tab Manager

TossTabs turns browser clutter into a short-lived action queue. See your open tabs by domain, save and close regular web tabs in one click, then work through what matters before “later” becomes never. Unlike permanent bookmark piles, TossTabs is built for decisions. Saved tabs, reading items, and unfinished to-dos are deleted after 72 hours, while notes stay. The result is a calmer new tab page that helps you finish, discard, or move on. KEY FEATURES • One-click save and close — Pin TossTabs and click its toolbar icon to save regular web tabs, open the dashboard, and close the originals. • Live open-tab overview — See tabs across Chrome windows, grouped by domain. Jump to any tab or close a single tab, a group, or exact duplicates. • A 72-hour action queue — Saved tabs, reading items, and unfinished to-dos show a visible deadline instead of becoming a permanent backlog. • Optional AI organization — Connect an OpenAI-compatible model gateway you choose. TossTabs can categorize saved tabs by intent and curate a focused Reading List from public sources you add. • Local Desk — Keep short to-dos and autosaving notes on the same calm page. Notes remain until you remove them or clear extension data. • Drag-and-drop categories — Move saved and reading items between intent-based categories, or create your own. • Light, dark, and system themes — Match Chrome and your working style. PRIVACY AND CONTROL TossTabs does not require a TossTabs account or a developer-operated cloud service. Browser-work data is stored in this Chrome profile. AI is optional: when you configure it, the tab metadata and public reading candidates needed for the requested feature are sent directly to the model gateway you choose. To-dos and notes are not sent to the model. Please read the privacy policy for complete details about local storage, optional model connections, public reading sources, and third-party network requests. WHAT TOSSTABS IS NOT TossTabs is not a permanent bookmark archive or a cross-device team workspace. It is a fast, local-first way to clear your browser and decide what deserves your attention now.
