The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About TidyTable
Fifteen minutes. That's how long you just spent retyping a table because the copy-paste came out as a single mangled column, or because SUM() decided your numbers were words.
TidyTable is the thirty-second version of that.
Click the table. See exactly what you're about to get. Export it. Done, and the numbers add up on the first try.
IT HANDLES THE TABLES THAT BREAK EVERYTHING ELSE
Merged cells that turn into a jigsaw. Two-row headers that collapse into nonsense. Numbers wearing invisible characters, comma separators, or brackets instead of a minus sign. European formatting. Wikipedia footnote markers welded to the data.
TidyTable reads the real HTML underneath and untangles all of it before the file ever reaches your desktop.
And it doesn't stop at 250 rows, or 500, or anywhere. Export three rows or thirty thousand. There is no cap, there was never going to be a cap, and you don't need to pay to lift one.
FREE MEANS FREE
Unlimited rows. CSV, Excel, Markdown, JSON, or straight to your clipboard for pasting. Full preview before you commit. Merged cells, multi-row headers, ARIA grids, tables built from divs. The complete cleaning layer. Editable filenames. A side panel that stays open while you work.
No account. No sign-up. No fourteen-day countdown. Install it and it works.
THREE THINGS WORTH KNOWING
Your tables never leave your machine. Not to a server, not to us, not anywhere. The free version makes zero network requests. Open DevTools, watch the Network tab, and enjoy the silence.
It's blind until you ask. No host permissions. TidyTable can't see a page until you click the icon on it, and it forgets everything the moment you're done.
It tells you when it can't help. If a table only loads rows as you scroll, you get told, not handed half a spreadsheet and a false sense of security.
IF THIS BECOMES A DAILY HABIT
Pro is $9. Once. Not a month, not a year, once.
You get the URLs hiding behind your links exported alongside the text. Every table on a page in one click. Column picking and reordering. Control over how merged cells fill.
And everything above stays free forever, whether you buy it or not.
QUESTIONS PEOPLE ACTUALLY ASK
It's not a real HTML table. Will it work?
Usually. ARIA grids and div-based tables are detected too.
What about tables inside an iframe?
Not yet.
One column came out as text, not numbers.
That column probably mixes formats, and TidyTable won't guess. A wrong guess corrupts your data permanently. Text you can fix in ten seconds.
What do you collect about me?
Nothing at all. No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, no network requests.
