Thrain Infinite Reader

Thrain Infinite Reader is a focused reading tool for Andrew Taylor’s Substack serial, Thrain. The extension turns the Thrain chapter archive into a clean, continuous reader with simple sidebar navigation, local reading progress, and a manual sync button for newly published chapters. It is designed for readers who want a quieter, book-like way to move through the story without repeatedly opening individual Substack posts. Features: - Continuous chapter reading in a streamlined reader view - Sidebar navigation for jumping between parts - Manual sync for newly published Thrain chapters - Local chapter cache for faster repeat reading - Local reading progress so you can return where you left off - Clear cache option - Preserves access rules from Substack Privacy and access: This extension does not collect personal information, use analytics, run ads, or send reader data to Andrew Taylor or any third-party server. It stores chapter content and reading progress locally in your browser only. The extension uses minimal permissions: local storage and access to Andrew Taylor’s Substack pages. It cannot read the rest of your browsing activity. It does not request cookie permissions, read cookies, or store cookies. When syncing, Chrome may include your existing Substack session cookies on requests to Substack so Substack can determine what your account can already read. This extension does not bypass Substack paywalls or unlock paid content. It only displays content your browser session can already access. Scope: Thrain Infinite Reader is built specifically for: https://andrewtaylor.substack.com/t/high-fantasy-thrain It is not a general Substack reader and does not access other publications.
