The Watcher - Target Picker

Track selected web page elements and financial values from your browser. The Watcher helps you track selected web page elements and financial values from your browser. Choose an element on a page, test its selector, create watcher rules, and manage your monitoring setup through the extension and The Watcher dashboard. How it works: • Create your free account at watcher724.com • Navigate to any webpage you want to monitor • Click the extension icon and use the Target Picker to select the exact element • Name your watcher and save — full setup continues on the dashboard • Get notified the moment something changes Key Features: • Visual Element Picker — No coding required. Point and click to select exactly what you want to track. The extension captures the CSS selector automatically. • Live Value Preview — Instantly see the current value of your selected element before saving, so you know you've picked the right target. • Compatibility Check — The extension tells you upfront whether a site is fully supported, so there are no surprises. Sites with anti-bot protection or heavy client-side rendering are flagged with an amber warning. • Multi-language Support — Available in English and Turkish (EN/TR toggle built into the popup). • Dashboard Sync — Your watchers sync to the web dashboard at watcher724.com where you can configure alert rules, check intervals, notification channels, and manage all your monitors in one place. • Completely Free — No hidden fees. No credit card required. No premium tiers. The Watcher 7/24 is free to use. Account-connected monitoring can sync selected watcher data with the dashboard and support email-based updates for monitored changes. Some dynamically rendered sites may not be supported yet. Static and server-rendered pages work best. The extension is designed for user-selected monitoring flows and does not track general browsing activity. What can you monitor? — E-commerce product prices and stock availability — Financial data: stock prices, exchange rates, indices — News headlines and article updates — Government portals: regulation changes, announcements — Job listings and application deadlines — Any publicly accessible, server-rendered webpage content Transparency Note: The Watcher works best on static and server-rendered pages. Sites that rely heavily on client-side JavaScript rendering, require login walls, or use aggressive anti-bot measures may have limited support. The extension will clearly warn you with an amber indicator if a site falls into this category. We're actively working to expand support. Privacy: We only access the page you're actively monitoring to read the selected element. No browsing data is collected, no trackers, no ads. Built with care for people who need to stay on top of what matters. Questions or feedback? Reach us at watcher724.com.
