The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About temoki - send to Tape
Send knowledge and information straight to Tape: selected text and the page URL via right-click, filling in further fields at the same time – no field IDs, no duplicates.
English
Version 3.2.0.
New
- Team targets in Tape. Store your targets as JSON in a plain text field of a Tape record and let colleagues load them in one click. The API key and user email are never included.
- Several storage locations. Each location has its own selection, export and import. Workspace, app, record and text field are chosen one after the other; each opens only after the previous one. The same record and field can only be added once.
- Export with selection. On export you choose which targets go into the file. The choice is remembered per location.
- Import asks first. Loading from Tape asks how to treat existing targets, like a file import does (update, add new only, replace, cancel). Updating keeps the newer version, also when targets arrive from several locations.
- Quick link. Every location shows a quick link (tape-targets:<record id>:<field id>) you can copy. Colleagues paste it under “Add from quick link” and the targets are imported at once.
- Hint for new data. When Settings opens, a location tells you if Tape holds newer data or was never synced. Nothing is imported on its own.
- Open the record. A link in each location’s header opens the record in Tape in a new tab.
- Icons and colours from Tape. Workspace icons appear in the app picker; app icons in the target cards, the storage locations and the popup’s review panel. Icons that cannot be shown (for example uploaded ones) show the first letter.
- Refresh Tape data. Icons and lists are stored on the device instead of being re-read on every visit. A button at the bottom of Settings reads them again.
How it works: you are reading a page and find an important passage. Select the text, right-click, choose a target – the form opens with the text, page URL and your additional fields ready. One click, and the record is in Tape.
BENEFITS
• Multiple targets: one menu entry per Tape app, e.g. for contacts, tasks or notes
• Page URL and text land automatically in the fields you define
• Assign records to yourself if you like
• Fill in additional fields while sending; required fields are marked
• Search for an existing record and append the text instead of creating a duplicate
• Export targets as a file and share them with your team
• Link to the created record right after sending
