The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Tech Support Scam Defender
This software is proudly made in Japan!!!! 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵
Created by a real Japanese developer — that's me! 😎
＝＝＝＝✨ New in v1.6 ✨＝＝＝＝
• Added a feature that automatically analyzes tech support scam websites and warns you in real-time!
※※ Please note: not all scams can be detected, but many will be. There is a small chance that normal websites may be mistakenly flagged. ※※
• Changed the popup message to encourage users to report to the police.

＝＝＝＝ Additional Protection Tip ＝＝＝＝
There are some scam methods that this extension cannot block, such as the built-in Windows feature **Quick Assist**.
To protect yourself, please uninstall it by following these steps:
> Click the Start button → Click "All apps" → Right-click "Quick Assist" → Click "Uninstall"
By doing this, you can greatly reduce the risk of falling victim to these scams.
