Task Relay – Web & ChatGPT to Skills

Turn selected text into a reusable Skill using your existing ChatGPT account. 1. Select useful text on a webpage or in an AI chat. 2. Open Task Relay and choose Turn into Skill. 3. Review the message Relay prepares in ChatGPT and press Send yourself. 4. Download the result with its own name, such as review-software-release-notes.md. Review and edit proposed Skills before another export. Single-file downloads follow standard Agent Skills format; packages with supporting resources export as a named ZIP containing SKILL.md. Save work keeps a different kind of result: a portable .relay.md summary of this task's findings, evidence, decisions and proposals, open questions and next actions. Supply a saved Skill or work snapshot in a new AI chat to reuse the method or continue the work. Options → Open files can prepare continuation context. No Relay account, cloud storage, Relay Desktop or separate model setup is required. Your chosen AI service's account and terms still apply. You choose exactly what to keep. Relay does not watch your browsing or read your complete chat history. Capture is explicit and limited to loaded, selectable document text; browser-protected pages, hidden content and forms are excluded. Optional access to chatgpt.com lets Relay open ChatGPT, place your draft and retrieve the matching reply. Relay never presses Send. You can decline or remove this access and use manual copy/import. Other AI sites use manual copy/paste. Captures, drafts and reviewed edits use local extension storage. No publisher telemetry or cloud synchronization. Optional advanced mode connects a separately registered Relay Desktop native bridge; Chrome asks for native-app permission only when you choose Connect Relay Desktop. Task Relay is free and independent of OpenAI and Google.
