TalkClips Captions helps you learn languages from YouTube videos. It adds bilingual subtitles on the player, a synced transcript beside the video, and Word Coach lookup when you click a word. Captions stay aligned with playback. Click a line to jump to that moment. What you can do • Show source captions and a translation together on the video • Browse a scrollable transcript and click any cue to seek • Click a word to get a definition, example, and save it to your vocabulary • See how hard each video is for your level • Highlight words you have already saved, so known and new vocabulary stand out in the captions • Review the vocabulary from the video you are watching • Choose a translation language, including 简体中文, 日本語, Español, and more • Sign in with the same TalkClips account so lookups and highlights sync After you sign in, each video shows a difficulty estimate based on the captions and your profile level. Saved words are color-coded in the overlay and transcript. Open Review to go through words from that video. Free accounts can translate a limited number of videos per day. Original captions still work after that. Subscribe on talkclips.xyz for unlimited caption translation. TalkClips Captions only runs on YouTube watch pages. It does not read your browsing history or other websites.
