The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Tacite IA - Automatic Meeting notes
Tacite produces a written record of your video meetings, without keeping the recording.
The principle is simple: when you start a capture, Tacite listens to the meeting, writes a summary, then destroys the audio and the transcript. Only the final summary remains, in your account. Nothing else is kept.
What the extension does
- Captures the audio of a Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom meeting (in the browser), only when you start the capture.
- Produces a structured summary: context, topics discussed, decisions, action items.
- Displays a recording indicator visible throughout the capture.
- Can display the transcript as subtitles on demand.
- Informs participants: a message is posted in the meeting chat at the start, stating that a summary is being generated and that nothing is retained.
What the extension does not do
- It does not keep the audio or the transcript: they are destroyed once the summary is produced.
- It does not record video.
- It does not read any other browsing data, and only activates on Meet, Teams and Zoom meeting pages.
How it works
You pair the extension with your Tacite account, then start a capture from the extension during your meeting. The summary then appears on your dashboard.
