The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About TabTimer - Time Tracker
TabTimer is a simple, privacy-first website time tracker. It automatically measures how much time you spend on each website and shows you clear daily, weekly, and monthly insights, so you can understand your habits, keep your screen time under control, and stay focused. And all of this without your data ever leaving your device.
WHY TABTIMER
- Automatic tracking: no timers to start or stop, TabTimer measures your active time on each site in the background
- Clear insights: total time, your most-used sites, and a pie chart of your time distribution at a glance
- Stay focused: set daily goals, set time limits on distracting sites, and get a notification when you go over
- Honest measurement: time is only counted when a tab is genuinely active and in the foreground. The timer pauses automatically when the browser is in the background, the screen is locked, or you switch to another app (idle detection)
- Private by design: everything stays local on your device

PRIVACY FIRST
TabTimer only records the domain name of the active tab (for example youtube.com) and the time you spend there. It never reads or stores the full URL, page content, what you type, your clicks, or any personal data. Everything is stored locally in your browser and is cleaned up automatically over time. No ads, no trackers, no analytics. Nothing is sent to any server. Private (incognito) windows are not tracked.
