Tabstash saves your open browser tabs right into Chrome's side panel — with a screenshot, page text, a tag and a note — so you can find them again in seconds. WHAT IT DOES 📸 Tab screenshots Save every open tab in the current window with one click — the extension captures a screenshot of each page and stores it locally. 🔍 Full-text search Search not only titles and URLs, but the actual page content. Matching cards show a highlighted quote from the page. 🏷 Tags & notes Add your own tags and notes right on each tab card. Click a tag chip to filter the list instantly. 🗂 Groups, sorting & filters Organize tabs into your own groups, filter the list by groups and tags, and sort by domain, last interaction or tag — pinned tabs always stay on top. ✅ Bulk actions Check the tabs you need and open, delete or summarize them all at once — or apply an action to the whole filtered/searched list with a single button. ✨ AI summaries Generate short summaries of saved pages with Chrome's built-in AI (Gemini Nano). Everything runs on your device — page text never leaves it. 📱 Tabs from other devices Browse tabs open in Chrome on your other devices (via Chrome sync) and save them into Tabstash with one click. 💾 Backup Export all saved tabs to a JSON file and restore from it — on the same or another computer. 🔒 Content encryption Page text can be encrypted (AES-GCM). By default this is transparent and password-free; optionally set a password to lock the content until you unlock it. 🕘 Background activity tracking The extension keeps the "last interaction" time and screenshot of already-saved tabs fresh automatically, with no extra clicks. PRIVACY All data — screenshots, page text, tags, notes and summaries — is stored locally on your device in IndexedDB only. AI summaries are generated by Chrome's built-in on-device model.
