TabSmart — Private AI Tab Organizer (On-Device)

TabSmart turns tab chaos into an organized workspace — and it does it privately. The AI runs on-device by default, so your tabs, titles, and browsing stay on your machine. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT IT DOES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🗂️ One-click grouping — AI reads your open tabs and sorts them into logical, color-coded groups (Research, Work, Shopping…) using Chrome's native tab groups. 🔎 Search every open tab — find any tab by title, URL, or page content. Jump to it or close it from the popup. Search "gmail" → close them all. 🧩 Custom grouping instructions — tune how your tabs get organized (only in BYOK mode for now). ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHY TABSMART IS DIFFERENT — IT'S PRIVATE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🔒 On-device by default — grouping runs locally in your browser. Your browsing data never leaves your machine. 🚫 No account, no sign-up, no tracking — install and go. 🔑 Optional cloud models (BYOK) — prefer a cloud LLM? Add your own API key and it goes straight to the provider. We never see it, and we never store your data. Most "AI tab" tools send your tabs to a server. TabSmart doesn't have to. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WORKS GREAT ON CHROMEBOOKS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Lightweight and private — ideal for ChromeOS, school, and work machines. Perfect for researchers, students, developers, and anyone drowning in tabs.
