About TaBlur
TaBlur keeps prying eyes out of your browser when you step away from your desk.
LOCK A TAB
Press Alt+Shift+L or click the toolbar button: the page is replaced by a lock screen. Its content, title and icon leave the tab, and the lock survives reloads, the Back button and browser restarts.
PROTECT A SITE
Add your webmail, bank or messaging site to your protected sites and it stays locked everywhere: new tab, history, bookmarks, typed address. The lock works at network level, so the page is not even loaded until you unlock it.
LOCK AUTOMATICALLY
Protected sites lock again after a period of inactivity, when your computer screen locks, and every time the browser restarts. Alt+Shift+K locks them all at once.
UNLOCK YOUR WAY
Type your 6-digit code (it unlocks as soon as you enter the sixth digit), or use Windows Hello, Touch ID, your phone or a security key.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your code is never stored, only a salted hash, and repeated wrong guesses trigger growing delays.
• Site access is requested one site at a time, only for the sites you protect.
• No data collection, no tracking: nothing ever leaves your browser.
TaBlur stops casual snooping. Anyone who can disable extensions can lift the locks, unless your administrator enforces TaBlur through a browser policy.
