The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About TabFerry — Copy & Open Tab Lists
Store listing > Description
TabFerry moves your tabs to the clipboard and back.
Copy a whole window of tabs as text in one click. Paste a list of URLs to open
them again — in safe batches, so your browser doesn't grind to a halt.
Everything happens on your computer. No account, no server, no tracking.
COPY YOUR TABS
• Copy this window, all windows, selected tabs, or a single tab group
• Choose your format: plain URLs, title + URL, Markdown, CSV, JSON, or your own template
• Tab groups keep their names and colours
• Untick anything you don't want before you copy
• Preview the exact text before it hits your clipboard
• Keyboard shortcut to copy the current window without opening the popup
OPEN A LIST — WITHOUT THE MELTDOWN
This is the part other tools get wrong. Paste 150 URLs into most extensions and
they all open at once, which spikes memory and can hang the browser.
TabFerry opens them in staged batches instead, a few at a time, so the browser
stays responsive. For very large lists there's an unloaded mode: tabs appear in
the tab strip straight away and only load when you actually click one.
• See every URL before anything opens
• Duplicates and already-open tabs are flagged and skipped by default
• Invalid lines are marked, not silently dropped
• Open into the current window or a new one
• Stop mid-way at any time — TabFerry tells you exactly where it stopped and
never closes tabs you already have open
TAB GROUPS SURVIVE THE ROUND TRIP
Copy a grouped window as Markdown and you get a clean, readable list — group
names as headings, tabs as links. Paste it into Slack, Notion, a GitHub issue or
your notes and it reads perfectly well to a human.
Paste that same text back into TabFerry and your groups come back: same names,
same colours, same order.
