The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Tabbit
Tabbit is a reading list for people with too many tabs. Save pages into folders, get a short AI summary of each one, and actually read the good stuff instead of hoarding it.
WHAT IT DOES
• Save any page in one click from the toolbar
• Sort links into folders and drag the folders into whatever order you like
• Summarise saved pages with Claude: a one line TLDR plus a few key points
• Summarise videos too. YouTube summaries come with clickable timestamps
• Search, filter and archive to keep folders tidy
• Copy a whole folder as Markdown to paste into your notes or an AI chat
• Send links from your phone via Telegram and find them waiting in your list
• A spend tracker shows what your summaries have cost so far
GETTING STARTED
1. Click the Tabbit icon on any page, then click Tabbit. That's a save.
2. Open your list and add an Anthropic API key in settings (from console.anthropic.com). A summary typically costs a fraction of a cent.
3. Select some links, hit Summarise, and skim.
PRIVACY
Your reading list, page text and API key stay on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere until you ask for something: summaries go to Anthropic under your own key, and links you share via Telegram pass through a small relay that deletes them as soon as your Tabbit picks them up. No analytics, no trackers. Full policy linked below.
