The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About TabArk — Tab Session Backup
Never lose your tabs again — and keep a copy that's truly yours.
TabArk quietly saves versioned backups of your open tabs as you browse, so you can jump back to any
previous session in one click. And unlike tools that trap your data inside the browser, TabArk lets you
keep a backup in a local file YOU own — so your sessions survive even if the extension or Chrome is
removed.
★ Automatic & versioned
Your open tabs are backed up in the background as they change. No "remember to save," no clutter —
just a clean timeline of past sessions you can return to.
★ One-click restore & crash recovery
Reopen any saved session into a fresh window with the exact tabs, in order. If your browser closes
unexpectedly, TabArk offers to bring your last session right back.
★ A copy you own (survives uninstall)
Export your sessions to a file any time, or point TabArk at a folder on your computer for backups you
control. Because they live in your own file, these copies survive uninstalling the extension or
resetting your profile. (Data kept only inside the browser is removed on uninstall, like any
extension — which is exactly why TabArk makes owning a copy easy.)
★ Provably local. Zero network. No account.
TabArk has no server and makes no network requests. Nothing you browse ever leaves your device. No
sign-in, no tracking, no ads. It asks only for the access a tab manager obviously needs — to see your
tabs so it can save and restore them — and nothing more.
★ Light, fast, and accessible
A tidy popup for quick actions and a full Library to browse, pin, rename, and restore. Full keyboard
support and a comfortable light/dark interface.
How it works
• Open and close tabs as usual — TabArk snapshots your session automatically.
• Open the Library to see your history; click Restore on any session.
• Click "Choose backup folder" (or Export) to keep a copy in a file you own.
What TabArk does NOT do
• No cloud, no account, no data collection.
• No reading of page content — only tab titles and addresses, stored locally.
• Never touches Incognito windows.
Your tabs, versioned and safe — in a file you own.
