Tab Time

Where did the afternoon go? Tab Time knows. Tab Time quietly tracks how long you spend on each website and shows you the answer in Chrome's side panel — a ranked list of your day, live, with zero effort from you. AUTOMATIC AND ACCURATE • Counts only real attention: time ticks when Chrome is focused and you're active, and stops after a minute of inactivity or when you lock your screen • Tab switches, navigations, and window changes are all handled automatically • Timestamp-based bookkeeping keeps totals accurate even across browser restarts YOUR DAY AT A GLANCE • Today and 7-day views, ranked with proportional bars • A live indicator on the site that's counting right now • The toolbar badge shows today's time on the site you're viewing • Export any period as CSV for your own analysis YOU'RE IN CONTROL • Pause tracking with one switch — a banner reminds you while it's off • Data is kept for 90 days and can be wiped with one click PRIVATE BY DESIGN This matters for a time tracker: Tab Time collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no network requests — the extension never talks to any server. Your browsing time is recorded only on your device, visible only to you, and deleted when you uninstall.
