About Tab Scheduler with auto open and close
Tab Scheduler opens and closes browser tabs for you at the times you choose - once, every day, every week, or every few minutes.
Open a website at a specific time, auto-close tabs after a set interval, or do both with one rule. Add a URL, pick a time, save. That is the whole setup, and you do not need an account.
WHAT PEOPLE USE IT FOR
- Open your dashboard, inbox, and timesheet at 9:00 every weekday.
- Close distracting tabs automatically when focus time starts - YouTube, Reddit, news.
- Reload a report page every 30 minutes so the session never times out.
- Get a reminder at 4 pm instead of a tab, with "Just remind me".
- Clear every tab from one site at 6 pm, with a 60-second warning first.
- Open a site at a random time each hour instead of the same minute.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Choose what the schedule should do: open a website, close matching tabs, or both.
2. Paste the URL and pick a time or an interval.
3. Save. It runs in the background, and the list shows you the next run time.
Most people are done in under a minute. Every option below is optional and stays out of the way until you want it.

QUESTIONS WE GET OFTEN
Can it open tabs automatically every morning?
Yes. Choose every day, set the time, and the tab opens itself every day. Use Multiple week schedule if you would rather skip the weekend.
Does it work if I close the browser?
Schedules run while the browser is open. If the computer was off or the browser was closed at the scheduled time, turn on "Run on browser start if missed" and the tab will open the next time you start the browser.
Can it close only one site and leave my other tabs alone?
Yes. A close schedule only touches tabs that match its URL, and you can keep pinned tabs, the active tab, or anything that is not an incognito tab.
Can it close tabs automatically after a set number of minutes?
Yes - every minute, every 5 minutes, every 30 minutes, every hour, custom minutes, custom seconds, or a random interval.
Will it open duplicates every time it runs?
Not if you turn on "Reload existing tab instead of opening new tab" - it reuses the tab you already have.
Does it need my data or an account?
No. Schedules are stored in your own browser. Signing in is optional and only syncs your schedules between your own computers.
FREE AND PAID
The free plan runs up to 5 schedules, with no sign-up and no time limit - enough for a simple daily routine. If you need more than that, a paid plan removes the limit.
