Tab Group Timer

Tab Group Timer automatically tracks how much time you spend actively working in each Chrome tab group, giving you real visibility into where your time actually goes — no manual stopwatches, no spreadsheets. How it works: Organize your work into Chrome's native tab groups, one per task or project. The extension detects when a group is active and accumulates time automatically, with no need to start or stop anything manually. Features: - Automatic tracking by tab group, not individual tabs - Zero setup: works with the tab groups you already use in Chrome - All data is stored locally in your browser — nothing is sent to external servers - Lightweight, with minimal permissions Privacy first: This extension does not collect, transmit, or share any data. All time tracking is stored exclusively in your browser. Open source: https://github.com/jormiquis/tab-group-timer
