The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Supreme AdBlock
Supreme AdBlock removes ads and trackers from the pages you visit, without watching what you do.
- Blocks YouTube video ads (pre-roll & mid-roll) at the source, plus feed
and search ads
- EasyList, EasyPrivacy and other open filter lists built in, plus the list for
your language — 31 regional lists, the one for your browser's language on by itself
- Removes banners, pop-ups, pop-unders and native sponsored-content widgets
- Hides sponsored posts on Facebook & Instagram
- Stops trackers and behavioural analytics
- Blocks third-party tracking cookies and beacons at the network level
- Turns off the browser's ad-targeting APIs (Topics, interest groups,
attribution reporting) on every page
- Strips tracking parameters (utm_*, fbclid, gclid, ...) from links
- Optional malware protection (URLhaus list)
- Handles cookie / consent banners: presses Reject when offered, clears the leftover
blur and scroll lock, and never presses a sign-in, OAuth or payment button
- Keeps pages usable when an adblock detector tries to break them
- Focus mode: hide chat bubbles, newsletter pop-ups, notification prompts, social
widgets, AI pop-ups, "Sign in with Google" pop-ups and YouTube Shorts
Site broken? A repair page fixes it in one click, or you tell us, nothing is
sent without you seeing it first
- Element picker, hide anything on a page with one click
- Advanced "My filters" with procedural selectors and anti-adblock scriptlets
- Per-site allowlist for sites you want to support, plus a per-site switch
for cosmetic filtering if a layout ever breaks
- "Blocked on this page" in the popup: see how much each filter list stopped
- Subscribe to any filter list by URL (refreshed daily)
- Pop-under blocker: thousands of known pop-up domains can no longer open
windows behind your back
- Strips third-party tracking cookies and blocks crypto-miners
- Daily signed (Ed25519), data-only filter updates, so blocking never goes stale
- Live stats: ads blocked, data saved, time saved
- Sleek Carbon Stealth theme (dark) with a light option
- Available in 73 languages
HOW IT WORKS
Built for Chrome's current extension platform, not retrofitted to it. Manifest
V3 took away the old way of blocking requests; this extension was written on the
new API from the first line, so nothing in it is a workaround on borrowed time.
YouTube ads are stopped at the source, so videos simply play. YouTube's video
servers are never blocked; the ad entries are taken out of the player's data
before the player reads it.
Protection that does not go stale. Ad networks rotate domains daily, while a
store review takes days. Our filter data refreshes twice a day, Ed25519-signed
and version-locked, so a new ad network is handled within hours — and no new
code is shipped to do it.
No remote code. All logic ships inside the package, including the 19
anti-adblock routines and the sites they apply to. What arrives over the network
is data only: hostnames and CSS selectors. No eval, no Function(), no script
fetched from a server.
You can read every line. No bundler, no minifier: unzip the extension and the
code you audit is exactly the code that runs; the few generated files (rule sets,
scriptlet data) are readable and rebuilt by public scripts. Code MIT licensed;
the bundled filter lists keep their own licences (listed in the package).
Your browsing data never leaves your device. No account, no analytics, no telemetry, no
"anonymous usage statistics". We take no money from advertisers and run no
"acceptable ads" scheme, so nothing is quietly unblocked behind your back.
It reaches the ads that rules alone cannot. Pop-unders are refused at the moment
a page calls window.open, for 2,700+ known hosts; anti-adblock walls are
neutralised; and ad slots no filter list names yet are caught by their
shape, not by a rule.
When a site breaks, you fix it in one click. Allow the site outright, or keep
network blocking and switch off only the element hiding — per site, from the
popup, with no config file.
You can see what it did. A per-page breakdown of what each filter list
blocked, live counters for data and time saved, and a health card in the
settings that confirms every part is actually running.
No account, no telemetry, no data collection: everything stays on your
device. The popup and settings have an optional donation link.
