Sunte listens to spoken Japanese and shows the original beside a clean translation — live, in a tidy little popup. No tabs, no copy-paste. Tap the mic and start speaking (or play any Japanese audio near your microphone). Read along — Japanese on top, your language below, as fast as it's spoken. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ TRANSLATION OPTIONS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Google (free) — works out of the box, no setup. Best for testing and light use. • Cloud API (your key) — add a Google Cloud Translation API key in Settings for higher accuracy and reliability. Your key is stored locally on your device and used only to authenticate translation requests. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PRIVACY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Sunte has no servers of its own and no account. It does not record or store audio, and it does not track you. Speech recognition is handled by your browser's built-in Web Speech API; recognized text is sent to your chosen translation provider only to translate it. Your settings stay on your device.
