About SuiteMigrate — SuiteScript 2.1 Migrator
SuiteMigrate helps NetSuite developers and administrators find every legacy SuiteScript in an account and convert it to SuiteScript 2.1 — the version NetSuite is standardising on. Scan, verify, convert, review, and download, all from the extension popup.
WHY NOW
Oracle NetSuite has announced the SuiteScript 2.1 timeline: SuiteScript 1.0 moves to limited support in 2027.1, 2.1 becomes the default runtime in 2028.1, and 2.1 is required from 2028.2. SuiteMigrate gives you a clear inventory of what still needs to move and a fast, reviewable path to get there.
SCAN & VERIFY
- One-click, read-only inventory of the active scripts visible to your NetSuite role
- See each script's API version (1.0 / 2.0 / 2.1) and migration status at a glance
- Totals for scripts that are unlocked, locked, or already on 2.1
- Source-access audit confirms whether each script file is readable under your current role before you plan a migration
- Clear blocker reasons: no source file attached, role cannot read source, protected or hidden (bundle/SuiteApp) source
- Pause and resume long audits on large accounts
CONVERT
- Convert selected SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0 scripts to SuiteScript 2.1
- Deprecated APIs are mapped to their 2.1 equivalents and modern 2.1 patterns are applied
- Each conversion includes change notes, review flags, and a confidence score
- Paste an authorized source copy manually when automatic access is unavailable
- Side-by-side comparison of original and converted code for review
REVIEW & DOWNLOAD
- Download converted .js files directly through Chrome Downloads
- Keep a conversion history in your account
- Migration Readiness Report (paid plans) summarises the whole account for stakeholders
SAFE BY DESIGN
- Your NetSuite scripts are never modified. SuiteMigrate reads source and produces new files — you deploy them to Sandbox and validate on your own terms.
- NetSuite access is optional and requested only when you click Scan on a NetSuite tab.
- Only the script source you explicitly choose to convert is sent to the SuiteMigrate conversion engine. Original source is not retained after the popup session ends.
- No tracking, no ads.
PLANS
- Free: scan unlimited scripts and run 5 free conversions
- Paid plans: unlimited conversions and the Migration Readiness Report
