It generates a random installation ID and sends usage events (such as the video ID, subtitle language, interface language, copy and export actions) and error reports to our server. Your country is determined from your IP address using third-party geolocation services. When you ask for AI notes, the subtitles of the video, its title and channel name are sent to our server and processed by OpenAI to write the notes; the notes are stored on our server and reused for the same video. The welcome page on our website sets a cookie to recognize your browser after a reinstall.
