About Study Tally
Study Tally records the time you spend studying, per subject, and helps you look back on it.
Timing
- Pick a subject in the toolbar popup and start/stop the stopwatch. Timing continues after the popup closes, and the elapsed time is shown on the badge.
- Forgot to start? Add a record manually with date, start time and duration. Edit or delete anything later.
Reviewing
- A monthly calendar shows each day's total and a per-subject breakdown. Select a day to see its 24-hour timeline and records.
- Weekly goal with a progress ring, comparison with last week, streaks, personal records (longest day / week / session) and cumulative milestones.
- 12-week trend chart and a 26-week heatmap.
Sync and data
- Records are stored in Chrome's sync storage and shared with your other computers signed in to the same Google account.
- Nothing is sent to external servers. Export and import your data as JSON.
Appearance
- 50 color themes with light and dark modes. A calm design with no emoji.
- Available in Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified / Traditional).
