## Name
Study Shield – Student Focus & Goals
## Short description
Protect one lesson, plan daily goals, and build a five-day study habit.
## Detailed description
Study Shield is a private focus companion made for students. Start a protected study session with a YouTube lecture or any educational webpage, and the extension keeps you on that chosen lesson until the timer ends. Its gentle reminders bring your own study purpose back into view when distraction appears.
Plan daily tasks, set target durations, record completed, partial, or missed work, and review the last five days of focus time and goals. Everything stays in your browser—there is no account, advertising, or data sent to a server.
## Key features
- Lock one chosen YouTube lesson or educational URL during a timed study session.
- Return to the lesson in one click if you get diverted.
- Create a personal, local-only student profile and motivation prompt.
- Track daily goals as complete, partial, or missed, including time done and extra time.
- See five days of focus sessions, completed tasks, and a study-time graph.
## Permission explanation
Study Shield needs access to webpage addresses so that, during an active study session, it can block navigation away from the lesson URL selected by the student. It uses Chrome storage only for the profile, goals, and study history on that browser. No user data is transmitted.
