- Google buttons now work on 136 more country domains, in other IMDb languages, and when signed out
- Google side panel button appears only on films and shows and follows the panel as it changes
- Titles are remembered for 7 days, so repeat clicks are faster

And a lot more. See the full list by clicking "What's New".
UPDATE 2.0 CHANGELOG
New
- IMDb and Letterboxd site integration: the Stremio button now appears on IMDb title pages next to the title, and in the "Where to Watch" section on Letterboxd film pages
- Google search icons: the Stremio icon now appears next to both IMDb and Letterboxd results in Google Search
- Quick Load Streams: a new toggle that jumps straight into stream options when opening content, without waiting for all results to load
Improved
- Better search matching: results are ranked by relevance using title similarity, token matching, and release year (previously the first result was picked). Titles with both a movie and series match on IMDb are now handled correctly
- More granular controls: each feature can be toggled independently (knowledge panel, IMDb links, Letterboxd links, IMDb site, Letterboxd site, context menu, shortcut, and address bar)
- Reliability: API calls now time out after 20 seconds instead of hanging, and movie vs series detection is verified against Cinemeta before opening
- Various bug fixes and performance improvements, with most of the codebase refactored
PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS
Privacy-first. No tracking.
Permissions used:
- Host permissions (*.google.com): only to inject the "Watch on Stremio" button into Google Search pages
- Context Menus: adds the right-click search option
- ActiveTab: reads selected text only when you trigger the shortcut or context menu
Note: This extension uses the public Cinemeta API to match titles to IMDb IDs. Results depend on available metadata.
