Streamblock

Streamblock is a free and open-source solution that removes ads from Twitch, YouTube, and many other websites. 🎯 BUILT FOR STREAMING • Twitch: Removes pre-roll and mid-roll ads in livestreams without interrupting your stream. • YouTube: Strips video ads, overlay banners and promotional cards. • No black waiting screens, no “ad in progress” – just keep watching. 🛡️ TRIPLE PROTECTION 1. Network blocking: 336+ rules (declarativeNetRequest) stop ad and tracking requests before they load. 2. DOM filtering: Removes ad elements directly from the page. 3. Cosmetic filtering: Hides leftover banners, empty ad slots and Flash remnants. ⚡ FAST & LIGHTWEIGHT • Manifest V3 – modern, efficient Chrome technology. • Minimal resource usage, no noticeable slowdown. • Works right after install – no setup required. 🏆 TESTED Scores 100/100 on adblock-tester.com. 🔒 PRIVACY Streamblock does not sell data and shows no ads of its own. It only collects anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (e.g. active installs) – with no personal data, and you can turn it off anytime from the popup (opt-out). 📋 HOW IT WORKS 1. Install. 2. Open Twitch or YouTube. 3. Watch ad-free. Done. The popup shows how much has been blocked and lets you disable statistics collection. Note: Streamblock is an independent project and is not affiliated with Twitch, YouTube or Google.
