Straight-A for Canvas

Straight-A for Canvas helps you organize course materials in Straight-A Space and keep track of coursework deadlines. Connect your school’s Canvas site to browse your courses, and switch between sites if you study at multiple schools. Select a course to save accessible materials to Space, including assignment instructions, discussions, files, quizzes, and other course resources. Available submissions and instructor feedback are saved alongside their assignments. In the Courses tab, previously synced courses appear first within their course group. Resync a course to save new or changed content while reusing unchanged materials, or open its saved materials in Space. The extension also checks previously synced courses for updates in the background when your sign-in sessions are available. The To-dos tab brings together items that need attention across your synced courses. Upcoming shows deadlines in the next 14 days, while Overdue shows past-due items that still require attention. Each item displays its course, deadline, type, and available score or grade. Click an item’s title to open its original page. Receive deadline reminders in the extension and through desktop notifications. You can open the related coursework, mark reminders as read, or turn off reminders for an individual item. An optional sidebar button lets you open the extension while browsing other websites. Move the button up or down, resize the panel, or turn off the sidebar button in the extension’s menu. You must be signed in to your school’s learning platform to access your courses. You can browse courses without a Straight-A account; saving materials, viewing to-dos, and receiving reminders require one. Synced course content and tracking information are sent to Straight-A to provide these features. Content availability depends on your account permissions.
