stopgoat: Stop Doomscrolling, Post by Post

Stop doomscrolling without quitting social media. Stopgoat turns the endless feeds of popular social media sites into a one-post-at-a-time experience, with a short mindful nature break every few posts. WHY IT HELPS Endless feeds are built so there's never a natural place to stop. Stopgoat gives you the chance to take a breath and decide, on purpose, whether to keep going. ONE CLICK BACK TO THE ORIGINAL Turn it off with a single click and view the same exact post on the native site. FEATURES • One post at a time on each supported site, presented in a clean and calm fashion. • Mindful Breaks: a short animated nature scene with a reminder to "think · breathe · feel". Skip it whenever you like. • The 14-day Wind-Down (Pro): cut down gradually instead of quitting cold turkey. Day 1 is a 5-second break every 10 posts. Each day the breaks come a little sooner and last a little longer, until day 14 brings a 30-second break after every post and a special reward at the finish. • Treasures: save a post worth keeping with the ruby in your toolbar. Pro adds full screengrabs and your customizable folders. Back up and restore everything to a file. • Doodle: draw in the blank margins around the feed. • Sensory and accessibility settings: reduced motion, gentle dissolves, dark mode, high-contrast controls and full keyboard navigation (N/P next and previous, S skip, T Treasures). • Works in 13 languages: it reads each site in your language, and its own buttons and settings follow your browser's language. GOOD FOR Anyone who wants to keep using social media but spend fewer evenings lost in autoplay, without deleting their accounts. Stopgoat changes the design of the feed. It is not an ad blocker: sponsored posts stay in the feed with their labels, one at a time like everything else, because the point is to notice what you take in, not to hide it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No accounts, analytics or tracking. • Everything you save stays on your computer. • Stopgoat only rearranges the page in your own browser. It doesn't change your accounts or what the sites recommend. • Pro payments are handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe; the extension only learns whether you've upgraded. FREE AND PRO Free: every supported site, Mindful Breaks every 5 posts, Doodle, every sensory and accessibility setting, back up & restore, and up to 15 Treasures. Pro ($2.99 a month or $29 a year): the 14-day Wind-Down, your own break length and frequency, use your own photos for the Mindful Breaks, custom background colors, unlimited Treasures and folders, and full-page screengrabs. Cancel anytime; full refund within 14 days of a charge. Stopgoat is an independent product of A Good Prompt to Live In, LLC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or certified by any of the sites it works with. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
