About Stillwood — Website Blocker & Focus
Stillwood is a website blocker that asks why.
Before YouTube, Reddit, Instagram or any site on your list opens, Stillwood pauses for a few seconds and asks one honest question: what's pulling you here? Bored, tired, anxious, stuck, or need it for work? Each answer gets its own small way back to what matters. Often that pause is enough to change your mind.
HOW IT WORKS
- Pick the sites that steal your time and when you want protection: weekdays 9:00–18:00, all the time, or only when you press "Start focus".
- When you reach for a listed site, you get a short pause and a question instead of the feed.
- Go back to work, take a 5-minute screen-free break, or open the site for 10 minutes with a purpose. When time's up, Stillwood gently brings you back.
- Need a site shut completely? Set it to "Closed" until your focus time ends.
RINGS OF FOCUSED TIME
Every 20 minutes of your own work grows a ring, like the rings of a tree. If something pulled you away, that ring keeps an orange edge. No blame, just an honest picture of your day.
SEE YOUR PATTERNS
- Who tried to take your time: which sites, how often, and how many minutes stayed yours.
- What pulled you: boredom, tiredness, habit, or your own words.
- Today, this week and all time.
YOUTUBE WITHOUT THE RABBIT HOLE
When you need YouTube for work, Stillwood opens it for 10 minutes with search only: no home feed, no recommendations, no Shorts.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
