Steam Wallet Custom Amount

Steam's "Add Funds to Wallet" page only offers five fixed amounts. This extension adds a "Custom" button next to them so you can top up with any amount you want, instead of overpaying or underpaying against a preset. You can also install this from inside Steam itself, without opening a separate browser: 1. Launch any game and open the Steam Overlay (default hotkey: Shift+Tab). 2. In the overlay, open the built-in web browser and go to this extension's Chrome Web Store page. 3. Click "Add to Chrome." The overlay will pop up asking for a download location — this is a known Steam overlay quirk, not an error. Pick any folder and name, it doesn't matter. 4. The extension installs and will now also work in the Steam desktop app. HOW IT WORKS Click "Custom" and enter an amount in a dialog styled to match Steam's own UI. Confirming it fills in and submits Steam's own official Add Funds form — the exact same form the built-in preset buttons use. This extension does not collect payment details, does not talk to any third-party server, and does not read or transmit anything about your account. It only adds a button and a small dialog to the page. CURRENCY SUPPORT The extension reads your account's currency and minimum amount directly from Steam's own page, so it isn't hardcoded to USD. That said, the amount-conversion logic has only been thoroughly verified for USD. If your Steam wallet is set to a non-USD currency, the extension will show a clear warning and ask you to double-check the amount before confirming. PRIVACY No data is collected, stored, or sent anywhere. The extension only runs on Steam's own Add Funds page (store.steampowered.com/steamaccount/addfunds) and requests no special permissions.
