Highlight text on any web page, add notes, and find everything again when you come back. Staymark is built around one promise: your highlights are still there when you return. No account, no sign-up, no limits, and nothing leaves your computer. WHY STAYMARK • Highlights come back — after a refresh, after Chrome restarts, and on pages that load their content late. • If a page changes and a passage is gone, the highlight is never silently deleted. It stays in your list as "not found", with its text and note. • Automatic backups before every change. If something goes wrong, Staymark restores your highlights and tells you so. • Unlimited highlights, pages, words and notes. Free, with no paid tier and no word caps. • No account and no network requests. Everything is stored locally in Chrome. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Highlight in 5 colors from the right-click menu, the toolbar popup, or Alt+Shift+H. • Add, edit and delete a note on any highlight. • See every highlight on the current page, click one to jump to it. • Copy all highlights on a page as Markdown. • Search all your highlights and notes, grouped by page. • Export everything to a file and import it back — import merges, never replaces. • Works inside embedded frames from the same site, and never interferes with typing, undo or text fields. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Staymark does not ask for access to all websites when you install it. It works on the tab where you use it. If you want highlights to appear automatically on a site, you allow that site with one click — and you can turn it off at any time. Your highlights, notes and the pages they belong to are stored only on your device. Not in this version: PDF highlighting, sync between devices, AI features.
