The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About StayLocal Browser Bridge
StayLocal Browser Bridge connects the StayLocal AI code editor to your local Chrome browser.
When you ask the agent to test a URL, open a localhost preview, click through a form, or QA a page you just built, this extension runs automation in a pinned Chrome tab on YOUR computer — not on a shared server.
Why install it?
• Test localhost and dev-server URLs from the editor
• QA sites and HTML you built with the agent
• See clicks and navigation in a real Chrome tab you control
• Avoid server-side preview limits on local and staging URLs
How it works:
1. Sign in at staylocal.tech and open the editor
2. Ask the agent to test a URL (e.g. "test http://localhost:5173" or "check if the login page works")
3. Chrome prompts once per site — click Allow
4. A pinned agent tab opens; switch to it to watch the test run
Privacy: no extension telemetry. Host access requested only when you ask to visit a site.
Requires a free StayLocal account at https://staylocal.tech/register
What’s new (v1.0.7):
• Fix site permission flow — “Allow site” button + reliable Chrome prompts
• Live preview screenshots after browse/fill/click/shop actions
• Better handling when extension is reloaded (refresh StayLocal page)
• Shopping and checkout form fill in your Chrome tab
