StageOS for Chrome connects Chrome to the StageOS app on your Mac, so the work you do in the browser shows up in your StageOS stages. What it does • Web agents: when StageOS hands a task to Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, the extension fills the task into the agent's message box and follows the conversation, so StageOS can show progress and bring the results back into your stage. • Capture: select text on any page and save it, with the page link, into the current stage or Quick Stages. • Progress: StageOS knows when a page it opened for you has finished, needs you, or was closed. Requirements • StageOS for Mac must be installed and running (download at https://stagenote.net). • The extension only talks to the StageOS app on the same Mac (127.0.0.1). It does not send page content to any other server. Why it asks for access to all sites The agent or page StageOS opens for you can be on any website, and captures can come from any page. The extension only reads a page when StageOS opened it for a task, or when you choose to capture from it.
