STACK keeps playlists with videos front and center, moves empty playlists out of the way, and remembers how you like your library organized. If you use YouTube playlists as watch lists, categories, or reusable queues, your library can quickly become cluttered as playlists empty out. STACK keeps things cleaner automatically without deleting your playlists or forcing you to rebuild your library. When it contains videos, STACK keeps it easy to reach near the front of your library. When it becomes empty, it moves out of the active-content area and can be hidden with the other empty playlists. Liked Videos is treated differently because it generally functions as saved or reference content. When it contains videos, STACK keeps it separate from your active viewing queues so it does not compete with playlists you are currently using. WORKS WITH YOUR EXISTING PLAYLISTS STACK works with the playlists already associated with your YouTube account. You do not need to rebuild your library or rename anything. STACK identifies playlists by their playlist IDs, so your playlists can be named whatever you want. Rename a playlist and STACK can continue recognizing it as the same playlist. CUSTOM ORDERING Arrange your playlists in the order that makes sense to you. STACK remembers your custom organization locally in your browser, so active playlists can return to their proper positions as their contents change. If a playlist becomes empty, STACK can move it out of the way. Add content later, and it can return automatically. BUILT FOR YOUTUBE’S DYNAMIC INTERFACE YouTube frequently updates parts of its pages without performing a traditional page refresh. STACK is designed to detect those changes and reapply your organization automatically, reducing the need for manual refreshing or rearranging. COMPATIBILITY HEALTH STACK includes built-in compatibility diagnostics so you can check how successfully it is reading the current YouTube playlist interface. PRIVACY-FIRST STACK is designed to perform its organization locally in your browser. The extension uses locally stored preferences and playlist metadata needed to remember your organization and settings. STACK does not include advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party telemetry, and it does not send your organizer data to a developer-controlled server. IMPORTANT DEVICE NOTE STACK organizes the playlist-library presentation on supported YouTube pages in Chrome. It does not change playlist ordering inside YouTube’s native mobile, TV, or console apps.
