Squishpets: Browser Pets That Live on Your Pages

Cute pets that live on the web pages you read. Click the Squishpets icon and a puppy, kitten, bunny or little ghost drops onto the page. It walks on the real layout: headings, pictures, cards and buttons become its playground. It knows the header from the sidebar from the article you're reading, and it acts on it. WHAT IT DOES ON THE PAGE • Eats ads, cookie banners and sidebar clutter, bite by bite. It never touches what you're reading, typing in or pointing at. Send it home and everything comes back. • Steals a headline or a picture, runs laps with it, then gives it back. • Naps on long articles, climbs pictures and peeks over the edge. • Fetches the treats you toss and refuses the ones it hates. • Reads headlines out loud, watches you type, hugs text you select, says hi when you come back. BRING FRIENDS Put up to three pets on one page. They say hello, play tag, and have cartoon play-fights in a dust cloud. Someone wins. Someone wants a rematch. YOU'RE IN CHARGE • Right-click a pet: sit, nap, dance, wave, spin, follow me, stay, climb up, jump onto something, eat this, steal that. • The little bubble at the edge of the page holds treats and tricks. • Pick it up and throw it. Poke it. Hold to pet it. • Give it a nickname, tell it your name, choose how it moves (roam, floor only, follow the cursor or stay) and how lively it is. 27 CHARACTERS Dogs, cats, wild animals, cuddly critters, ocean friends and spooky little monsters, each with its own world, stats, traits and signature move: a corgi with zoomies, a Bengal kitten that pounces on your cursor, a golden retriever that plays fetch with your links, a ginger cat that knocks pictures off the page, a lion cub with a mighty roar, a ghost that floats through everything. Mochi the bunny and Waffles the corgi are free. Others are $1 to $3 once, yours to keep. LEVELS AND A DAILY DIARY Pets earn XP as you browse together. Twenty levels unlock tricks and things to wear. The popup keeps a record of the day: ads eaten, treats, naps, games. PRIVATE AND LIGHT • No account and no tracking. Nothing about the pages you visit leaves your browser. • Pets only appear where you bring them: click the icon or press Alt+Shift+P.
