Speedy Jev

Ask AI questions about any web page in one click. Speedy Jev reads the text on your current page, or just the part you selected, sends it to Jev by TypeSafe AI, and shows you short, structured answers within seconds. You don't open a chat window, type a prompt, or copy and paste anything. WHY SPEEDY JEV? Most AI tools make you copy text, switch tabs, paste it, write a prompt and then read a long reply. Speedy Jev skips all of that. • One click, instant answers. Click the toolbar icon and your answers appear. • Answers you can act on. You get short results like "Positive · 82% confidence" or "Yes (91% yes)" instead of paragraphs. • Set your questions once and reuse them everywhere. Ask them about any article, email, review, product page or support ticket. • Selection or whole page. Highlight a paragraph to ask about just that part, or select nothing to use the whole page. • See what it costs. Every result shows the token count and an estimated cost, so your bill has no surprises. • Private by design. Your API key stays on your device, and nothing is read from a page until you click. • Fast and lightweight. It's a small popup with nothing running in the background, so it won't slow down your browsing. WHAT CAN YOU USE IT FOR? Out of the box, Speedy Jev answers three example questions about any page: • What is the overall sentiment of this text? → Positive · score 3.12 (88% confidence) • What kind of content is this? → opinion (93% confidence) • Does this text ask the reader to take a specific action? → No (12% yes) You can replace them with your own questions. For example: • Research: Is this source news, opinion or marketing? Does it cite evidence? • Customer support: How urgent is this ticket? Is it a bug or a feature request? • Shopping: Does this product page mention a warranty? • Email triage: Does this email need a reply today? Jev supports three kinds of questions: • Yes / no questions, answered with a probability • Multiple choice questions, answered with the best option and a confidence level • Score questions on your own scale, for example from "Very negative" to "Very positive" GET STARTED IN 2 MINUTES 1. Install Speedy Jev. 2. Get a Jev API key from TypeSafe AI (docs.typesafe.ai). 3. Click the Speedy Jev icon, open Settings, and paste your key. 4. Pin the icon to your toolbar so it's always one click away. 5. Open any article, select some text if you want, and click the icon. Your first answers use the example questions, so you can see how it works right away. MAKE IT YOUR OWN In Settings you can edit the request template, a small JSON document that lists your questions. Wherever you write {{text}}, Speedy Jev inserts the text from the page. Quotes, line breaks and special characters on the page can't break your template. Other options: • Clipboard: Speedy Jev copies the captured text to your clipboard while it waits for Jev, so you can paste it elsewhere. You can turn this off. • Input price: set the price per million tokens used for the cost estimate. • Details: each result also shows the model used, the text that was sent and the raw response. YOUR PRIVACY AND SECURITY • Your API key stays on your device. It's saved in the browser's local extension storage and is never synced to your Google account. • Your key only goes to Jev. It's sent only to https://api.typesafe.ai. This address is built in and can't be changed, and the extension has no permission to contact any other site. • Pages are read only when you click. Speedy Jev doesn't run on the pages you visit and can't see your browsing. • Answers are shown as plain text, so a response can never run code in your browser. • There's no tracking, no analytics and no account. GOOD TO KNOW • You need your own Jev API key. TypeSafe AI bills your account for usage. • Text inside embedded frames (iframes) isn't included. • Text selected inside input boxes and text areas doesn't count as a selection, so the whole page is used instead. • Keep the popup open until the answers arrive, because closing it cancels the request.
